luckykat in korea!
ok,
well maybe not Korea but in a korean restaurant.
met
up with the fabled luckykat today at a Korean restaurant for lunch.
we both hadn't had Korean food in awhile so we were really craving
for some. in fact, for the past couple of days, all we could talk
about was Korean food!
it
was great seeing linda again because it's been....over a month now.
:p but this time, we got to talk one on one about life, both real
and online and it was good getting to know her more in person than
what we can just cover in emails or IMs. sometimes you just can't
talk about all the stuff you want to via virtual methods.
i
think everything you've read/seen/heard about luckykat is true.
she's really adorable, cute, smart, articulate, artsy and all that
good stuff. [i expect your check in the mail tomorrow Linda]
people
say she's quiet but i'll let you in on a secret, she's not *that*
quiet. ;)

the
restaurant was packed and pretty busy when we got there, so we had
to wait awhile for our food. i guess not working at this time helps
because we're not on some rushed schedule to get back to work before
our boss finds out we're late. by the time the food arrived we were
starving and were in such a rush to snap the photos that they didn't
come out so good (at least for me). you'll have to check on luckykat's
site for her version -- she's got the nicer camera.

in
LA, i don't know too many other online journalists who are 1. chinese
2. married 3. around my age 4. doesn't want/don't have children
5. is a web geek and 6. likes green and rite-aid ice cream as much
as i do. so needless to say, Linda and i have alot to cover over
our meal. i actually learned alot of new things about Linda today
but i shouldn't share all her deep dark secrets with you here. it's
not...right. :p if you know me, you'll know that i don't like to
talk about other people esp. if they are online journalists, to
other folks. So please don't ask me any gossip. i don't know anything
anyway.
after
lunch, we decided to hit the mall and look at makeup stuff. actually
luckykat wanted to check things out and well, like you really have
to twist my fuckin arm to go makeup shopping or something. i really
did try to walk out without anything in hand but the temptation
was too great, especially when luckykat was buying up a storm. :x
at least makeup is easy to hide from my anti-makeup-buying K. muhahaha.
here's
my bounty for the day:

philosophy
the supernatural lipstick in salvation

stila
eyeshadow in kiwi
both
luckykat and i cannot not resist green, let alone green eyeshadow
-- it was a perfect blend of shimmer and glow with a hint of green
to brighten up any Asian eye! i love green eyeshadows and i have
a ton of them to prove it. they always remind me of summer. i find
it funny when people don't think they can wear a certain color when
they've never tried it. pussies i tell you.

luckykat
enjoying a cold one after our makeup jaunt and to wrap up our day
together. come to think of it, i don't even know what she drank
because we were too busy getting our dose of Chinese music for the...year.
the damn place kept replaying the same mtv disc over and over again
3 times. they must really love joey yung there.
thanks
for for coming out to eat and play. :) let's get together again
soon. *wink*
i
know all of you are mad jealous.
I'm
out.
