In
LA, sometimes we get some fantastic colors in our skies. It's not
all smog you know? But I suppose everywhere else in the world has
the same thing from time to time. We usually just need to appreciate
what they have more often. I know I don't give LA enough credit
because I bitch about it so, from the rude drivers, the standoffishness
of the people, the general lack of flavor the suburbs have, the
prejudice and such but I guess it's not as bad it seems. I suppose
there are many other places that are much worse off. There are some
good things about it and perhaps that's why I haven't left it yet.
Sure,
the bad usually stands out more than the good but isn't that how
it is in life? We tend to focus on the negative and the ill feelings
about certain things rather than relishing the things that are positive
and the things that are good. But fuck, I've always been a pessimist
and it's hard to change my ways. I know a lot of you out there are
like me. Positive to those who need your support but negative whenever
it's something about you yourself. I know I can be a pillar of strength
for those in need and for my friends who need my support but whenever
it deals with me, myself and I, I'm usually the first to crumble
and submit to my pathetic negativity.
I don't
think it's uncommon. I don't exude positive rays and I don't glow
like the sun and besides, we usually hate those who are like that
twenty four seven. No. I'm not like that and yet I'm not on the
verge of blowing my brains out either.

for guessing the correct answer to my giveaway question. I hope
she can give my book a good home. Also, this is the very first time
that someone has guessed the answer correctly to any of my giveaways
on the very first day! Usually, it takes about 2-3 days before I
receive a correct answer. But this time, she deduced the answer
by looking at my tattoos photos and from taking into account that
I've been a competitive swimmer ever since I was little.
