veneer

sometimes i wish i could watch my life from behind those glass windows at the carwash. you know, where you see the car moving along the conveyor belt and you shift from one window to the next, following its every move? life would be so much easier to deal with if you can just watch your life happen without having to really handle many of its experiences. perhaps that's why i really like going to the carwash because behind the veneer of the glass, you can still see things clearly while being protected behind a nearly invisible shield.

sometimes, it's practically mesmerizing.

I'm out.
