lunching w/dkb

dkb called me last night and asked if i wanted to have lunch together today.
how could i refuse the ever studly hunk of a man such as dkb? no one in their
right mind would. but of course i wrote his girlfriend today and told her
of our rendezvous plans to get her um...blessing. she said i could
have him for half a day (or even longer) if i wanted to.
she's so generous.
for those of you new to the site or if you haven't read my archives, dkb means dirty korean boy. and please, before you think i'm talking smack about the korean culture, i have to tell you that it's an inside joke between us. but of course with a catchy name like dkb, how could it not stick? i mean, i could easily be referred to as dcg!
dkb has a little bit of free time today to squeeze me into his schedule, so we went to a nice restaurant near work to catch up. to be honest, this was my very first time going out alone with dkb.

my palms were sweaty, beads of cold sweat were forming and my heart was all thumpity thump.
side effects from the meds obviously. or from hunger. :x
of course with my luck, a whole group of people from my work came to the same restaurant for lunch but thank goodness sat far away from us. since dkb looks kind of similar to TGILW - people probably thought i was having lunch with TGILW.
dkb had the seafood vegetable soup and the ham & beef linguine. he said it was "good".
i had the grilled chicken breast sandwich with pesto fries. and no, i didn't eat (much of) the fries. dkb and i lovingly shared them together.

of course when i went back to the office, i called up dkb's gf and gave her the scoop on our conversation. hey - that's the only decent thing one girlfriend does for another.
my colleague drew me the other day when we were having lunch at macaroni grill. she sat across from me and i didn't look at the picture she drew until i downloaded it onto my computer.
i really don't think this looks like me at all.
i'm definitely not this pretty.
i think you all know what i'm going to write here, don't you? there's still time to email me for the you-know-what . i'll be working on them while the turkey is in the oven on thursday. no need to be shy. i just want to make sure everyone has had a chance to request one.
