tiger
may 01, 2005

this is one of the local cats in my neighborhood.
i call him tiger for the obvious markings on his body. but only to myself. it's not very original i know. he doesn't know it though. nor will he answer to it, i don't think.
on many occasions i see him roaming in my yard, climbing in my tree or just sitting there perched on the stone wall. he must think that my yard is the best place to hang out. it's a lush jungle of overgrown weeds, dried out plants, branches and twigs strewn across the ground in addition to leaves left out much too long baking under the california sun.
if i'm lucky, i get a glimpse of him from my computer room window as i glance outside. there are times when i haven't seen him in a long while that i wonder if anything terrible has happened to him. but when i see him again , it's always a pleasant welcome to the hard reality of survival of the fittest.
this photo of tiger happened to be a view of what i saw outside my computer room window the other day.
he seemed so content.

M-A-Y
it's strange to type that since i didn't spend much time typing out A-P-R-I-L last month on this site. and now, it's already may? how the hell did that happen?
a lot has happened over these past 30 days. it's going to take me awhile to catch up with photos, descriptions and the typical stuff. oh... i have been taking photos, but i just didn't update. that's all.
i've grown to a point where i can step away from this site for awhile and not feel guilty about not updating. in fact, i hardly even checked out anyone else's site for that matter.
you know what i really did?
i fell in love.
with my tivo.
i became obsessed with watching every single episode of CSI out there.
i wished i had a more glamourous answer for you all but i really don't.
currently listening to: patsy cline, i fall to pieces
scoff if you must but i know many of you love these old country songs like i do.
