bowling for lunch

every wednesday during lunchtime, a few of us from my office have been going bowling. although that's probably not the first thing that comes to mind when you think of lunchtime activities, it's become something we look forward to. it's interesting to see how 1 game of bowling can lift a person's spirit even if they had the shittiest morning possible.
some of the people actually play in leagues and have their own shoes, ball and such while others are just plain just-for-fun bowlers. although we are there when all the senior leagues are playing, it's a good diversion in the middle of the week when we need a break the most. it's amazing how much camaraderie surfaces when people play in teams.
the thing is though....i don't bowl.
i actually just sit there and eat my lunch and watch and occasionally laugh.
outloud.
really loud.
it's a good way to spend an hour.
