^ bulgogi - marinated korean bbq beef
sorry folks, busy and tired this week. and emotionally wrought due to work. so just enjoy the asian comfort food pics. there's plenty more comfort foods in my book but just haven't gotten around to eating them yet.
thank goodness i went back to martial arts last week (after like an 8 week hiatus due to my constant illnesses) or else i think you need to roll me to work. this portly state of self is not good for my self image. :p
^ bun chao tom thit nuong - rice noodles with shrimp on sugar cane
and grilled pork.
^ cha gio - vietnamese egg rolls waiting to be wrapped and devoured.
^ i have no idea what this is but it tastes exactly like the broth in champon
(korean seafood noodle soup) without the noodles though. very spicy but good
with rice. (sorry, bad photo)
^ hiya yakko - cold tofu with shoyu, ginger, scallions and grated
bonito flakes. one of my faves.
^ kim bap - korean style sushi from a different place than i usually
hit up. pretty good from this place too but the presentation isn't as nice.
^ pho - vietnamese noodles, steaming hot with rare steak slices hovering
on top.
