sofia turns 1

i couldn't let another day pass without sharing the plum blossoms that i took a few days ago. i took snowbie for her walk and my neighbor had these planted along the sidewalk so i took my camera with me to snap a pic. they are really beautiful and will be gone before i know it. spring is surely here.

look who turned 1 this week?
sofia's parents had a birthday celebration for her yesterday with just family to ring in her frist birthday. it was very small and quaint and we got to spend a lot of time smooching her little cheeks off. :)
the poor little birthday girl fell sometime earlier this week and scraped her nose. i was going to photoshop it out but thought this is how she is on her 1st birthday and should keep the integrity of it. :) she's really starting to look a lot like her older sister. it's just that her eyes are even bigger than her sisters and super round. she's also got my thick lips. ;) dontcha love how i claim her similarities to me. haha! it of course all comes from mommy and daddy.
older sister jasmine was telling me and everyone in earshot about the leprechaun in her school that was causing chaos. i asked her how big is the leprechaun and she showed me the size. no wonder it's hard to find leprechauns if they are so small. :p
miss sofia in mid-chew during lunchtime as she was feasting on fried rice.
i sat next to miss jasmine during lunch and it was my frist time shooting her with my new camera. she was making faces at me while she was eating. funny girl. she looks like a little anime character. i think everyone with those super cute half moon eyes are so japanese cartoon-like.

the birthday girl with her new favorite toy - the nemo cruiser. i tell you, this thing is badass.
i look like him, except i don't have the stubbles, the big eyes, the forehead wrinkles nor the wacky looks. ;) hee hee. but aside from that, i look like him. in the chaos of everything, i once again don't have a photo of my sister in law. next time for sure.
cutie pie is growing up. *sigh* i love my nieces so much.
