is anyone here as crazy about the launching of this show as i am? or rather, i should ask, does anyone love Kat Von D as much as i do? i think she's absolutely amazing and gorgeous. it's rare that i look at women and think they are so utterly jaw droppingly beautiful but in my book...she takes the cake over some of the movie stars and crack head twenty something actresses who look like they are 40 (yes, i'm talking about you lilo!).
ever since watching her on miami ink for the past 2 seasons, i've really been consumed by not only her gift of putting masterpieces onto skin but her style, her strut, her overall outlook on life and people. it's so refreshing to see people being who they are on tv and not giving a damn about it. it's so rare that i go ga-ga over a celeb, being the LA girl that i am you know? *cough* but she definitely is one that i would love to meet one day!
anyway, even if you aren't a tattoo lover, you should watch her show. maybe i should even consider signing up for her show and getting my tats done by her! :D
we shall see! just gotta think of ideas now....hmmmmm. muhahahaha.
i know you all thought this was gonna be another entry about DOMO. well, i do have some DOMO entries coming up but i'll spare you the overdose. instead i'll share a few pics of my favorite sweeties! it's been awhile since i've posted their pics here but i've been babysitting them from time to time and was always too lazy to get the camera out. i'm usually too busy cooking, playing, disciplining or whatever when they are around. and i'm usually too tired by the time i put them to bed to think about anything else.
but look at how they've grown! my favorite big niece will be 6 in a few months. :O and my favorite little niece is 2.5 years now. time flies.
i got them 2 weeks ago for a couple of nights and as far as i can tell, they really enjoy their sleepovers here. sofie in particular took over snowbie's bed and used it as a lounger. i of course take no responsibility for any fleas found on her. just kidding. :p snowbie has no fleas at all. it's also really rare to capture sofie smiling in pics. she usually has that serious look when you stick a camera in her face but this time, she must have been enjoying the dog bed to grace me with a nice pose and smile.
jas is really tall nowadays. the girl is like a little grasshopper. she's gonna be towering over me in a few years. she's already planning the day she can literally talk down to me. she thinks it's funny. :p so here's a pic of my precious furry child with my just-woke-up-from-a-nap mom alongside jasmine. i should at this time tell my brother and sis in law to look away as i'm not really feeding her tortilla chips here....they are um.....fruit....yeah, shaped like tortilla chips. :x
it's hard for me to put into words what it's like interacting with them now. they are both so full of life and so talkative to us. it's so fun to be with them. it seemed like it took forever to get to this point but really, time flew by. of course their favorite person is uncle TGILW! in fact jasmine told me last time:
"i wished i had 500 uncle TGILW so i can have one all to myself!"
now, if that's not love, i dunno what is!
they also are always curious of my "stamps" on my arms and back. jasmine is always wondering why they don't wash off. haha. she knows they are tattoos but i don't think she knows how they got there.
i think it will be even more fun when sofie is a bit older and can interact even more so but right now she is the cutest thing ever. and of course i'm saying that because she's my niece but seriously, you can't deny how lovely by two little nieces are right? ;)
ok, back on track with my entries starting tomorrow. it's been a busy week so far so i haven't had much chance to write but at least wanted to get it started again before i get lazy!
