finally...surgery

i haven't talked about my hand surgery because...i haven't had it yet!! but i bet you all forgot anyways! since i came down with the flu, my orthopedic surgeon suggested that i postpone my surgery so that my recovery will not be hindered my a weak immune system. anyway, my surgery is postponed to tomorrow 3/23 so please keep good thoughts for me even though this is gonna be a relatively simple surgery. but you know with my crazy allergies to all sorts of meds out there that general anasthesia is dangerous for me. :\ anyway, i'm looking forward to having a better functioning hand/finger after this. it's bugging the shit out of me and causes so much pain and discomfort. :( but just don't like going to the hospital, dealing with anasthesia and ugh, the recovery process! the doc said i can't get it wet for 2 weeks!! i better stock up on those big thick red korean rubber gloves!
so i've been kinda out of commission these past few weeks. call it what you will but i've been preoccupied with a lot of things. hopefully after this group of entries, i'll be back to a more regular schedule of updating, even if i am still healing from surgery. :x sometimes when you're just inundated with things going on, there's barely enough time to spare to write...let alone surf! damn. and really hate being behind on writing and surfing. i don't even know what is going on with a lot of other journalers these days. argh.
these 3 pics are from hollywood (obviously) when i went to hollywood + highland and the kodak theatre last month with TGILW's extended family when they visited LA. i would have had better ones if it wasn't such a weird overcast yet humid and hot day. icky. but i do especially like the roosevelt hotel one above.
it's crazy to think it's almost april but there's so much to do in the upcoming weeks/months. plans are already taking shape and it's strange how when i'm not working, i'm actually so much busier than when i am.
